How long will it take my order to ship? TOP
All items are custom made; therefore, most take 2-3 weeks after order is placed to ship out. Our Playdate Pieces may take a little less and our Custom Creations may take a little longer. If you need an item sooner, please contact us and we will try to make it happen!
Do you have a sizing chart? TOP
Each item is custom-made and because of this, everything fits a little differently. In general the sizes tend to run a bit bigger than those in department stores, as is the case with many custom/boutique brands. PLEASE feel free to email us with any questions regarding size on any item. I'd like to think we offer a "Personal Shopping Service" and would be more than happy to help find the right size and fit for whoever you are shopping for. What are your shipping rates? TOP
Shipping is one of those areas that we just don't like! I love to shop almost as much as I like to design clothes, and with online shopping life just gets easier...until you checkout and realize you just spent an extra $15 in shipping. Who wants that? Not me!! Because of this, we keep shipping very simple at Mudcake Originals. We ship everything USPS Priority and NEVER charge you more than what we pay in shipping!!! So you can expect to pay $4.95 to $13.95 but never more.
Below are the current prices for USPS Priority and the sizes - most shipments fall under the Small Flat Rate Box and Medium Flat rate Box sizes.

At Mudcake Originals your satisfaction is of upmost importance to us. Everything designed here at Mudcake Originals is custom and handmade by me. I do not hire out!! Which means, I can and occasionally do make mistakes. I know...but it can happen. I check everything inch-by-inch and would never ship off something I wouldn't put on my own little ones. If for whatever reason you receive something that is less-than-perfect or you are less than satisfied, PLEASE contact me immediately and I will be happy to replace ASAP!! For the same reason, because everything is custom-made no refunds will be issued, only exhanges. Please contact us prior to returning any items at orders@mudcakeoriginals.com.
Do you charge sales tax? TOP
I do not charge sales tax to customers outside of Texas? Unfortunately, my very wonderful customers from Texas do have to pay sales tax - sorry, it ain't right but it's what my accountant says I have to do!!!
